Regulations for a Federal Firearms Dealer License
There are certain regulations that must be met when you are applying for a Federal Firearms Dealer License. The Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) agency will approve an applicant if he or she:
- Is at least 21 years old.
- Is not prohibited from shipping, transporting, receiving or possessing firearms or ammunition.
- Has not willfully violated the Gun Control Act or its regulations.
- Has not willfully failed to disclose material information or willfully made false statements concerning material facts in connection with his or her application.
- Has premises (which can be his or her home) for conducting business or collecting for C&R.
